"KINDERKLANG" - a Children's Choir Day: Singing Together in Harmony!

The fantastic sounds of the choirs and the warm atmosohere of the 2025 Chorbiennale will carry us through this year until the next festival in 2027. These two years may seem long to the young singers among us. To give them the opportunity to experience choir singing and its atmosphere in a larger group and to strengthen their joy in singing, we at the Association of Freinds and Supporters of the International Chorbiennale Aachen e.V., in collaboration with the Viktoriaschule, the Annaschule, and the Aachen Music School, cordially invite you to the


Chirldren's Choir Day "KINDERKLANG"


We view our work with young talent as an important part of our mission as a support association and as a contribution to the success of the Chorbiennale..


The Children's Choir Day will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Viktoriaschule, Warmweiherstraße under professioinal direction.


All children's choirs in the metropolitan area Städteregion Aachen with children and young people aged approximately 6-12 are invited, whether they are school choirs, church choirsm or other types of choirs.


Here is our proposed program:


10:30 a.m.

Arrival

11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Common Warm-up singing

Rehearsing a new song

Singing three songs (which the choirs have already rehearsed internally in the weeks leading up to the event)

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Break with physical activity

Snack (provided) and time for conversation

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Joint performance for parents and the rest of the audience: All children sing four songs together

Choirs may perform their own song

2:00 p.m.
